think up an idea,
and start it and maybe
almost finish it.....almost. My Mount Torrence Ski Resort sits quiet as
record snowfall arrives.
My Ladies Day Spa
was a good one, but
it was wayyyy to much
work. LOL. So when
I told Mela, I wanted
to build the tallest,
most high tech skyscraper
in Moove, she was
not overly thrilled. I finally gained her approval after showing
her the blue prints,
the cost to construct
bids and other things
I do not really understand.

my idea. I have to be honest. If I had known that
the state of the
worlds economy would
be
like it is today,
I would probably
not have
embarked on this
crazy concept in
2006. It takes a bunch of well-trained people to
put together a 177 story spire into the sky
and thankfully, Moove is full of skilled
artisians. The finished piece of modern art is nearly
maintenance free,
wired for the latest
technology,
100% totally green
and built to withstand
a 9.0 virus mega
quake. The technology is evident as soon as you
enter the lobby,
with walls made of
ultra
thin flat panel screens
stretching from from
floor to ceiling.
Depending on the
outside
temperature,
Lightweight elevators lines with renewable
bamboo paneling.
these panels will
project the correct
lighting,
art, colors or themes
to balance the temperature
outside and in the
lobby. This "psychological
thermostat"
is used on all 177
floors
and helps the building
to maintain an energy
cost 90% lower than
any other building
in
Moove. Bamboo lined elevators whisk riders at record
breaking speed and are controlled to only
allow those with transmitter key fobs to
stop on certain floors such as the residences
and office floors. One of these offices is the headquarters
for TorLa Inc, the
parent company of
the
Crystal Angel Fashion
Network. TorLa and
its subsidiaries
use floors 111 to
150 to
conduct the global

it is they do...shhhh.
Top Secret. The general
offices of the Crystal
Angel Fashion and
Design Magazine are located
on the 149th floor. The size, tenants, owners and residents of
the private floors (21 through 100) is extremely
confidential; but we are able to say that
some of the floors are used as one apartment
while others are located on more than one
level. Only the Moove building department
has the blueprints and they are kept in a
safe that is made to look like an old foot
stool...OOOOOPS. darn. I am just awful at
keeping secrets. The future offices of the Moove Government,
several biocelluarpixelating
start-ups and
a Dance Studio are
also located in the
new
Thorn. The planned Rose Petal Restaurant will be
only one of the 15 dining and drinking establishments
that will call the Thorn Building home. More
than 200 retail outlets from both real and
Moove have signed up to occupy the mall space
designed by Lethal Lita. The Thorn also offers three pools, four common
area hot tubs, two
spas and a helicopter
landing pad on the
roof. All residents are
members of the Club
177 Platinum Group that
allows them full
use of all TorLa properties
worldwide, private
jet travel aboard any
one of the Angel
fleet of aircraft and many
other ammenities..
More than 40000 square feet of outdoor decks

While the Thorn Building looks exclusive
and very expensive,
it is offered to all
Moove residents free
of charge. While the
Thorn is built to
offer the Moove resident
the most comfortable
lifestyle imaginable,
it is also constructed
to accomodate people
from real. I am adamant that as Avatars, we do not prejudice
against any person
made of either skin
or
pixel. After witnesses
the anger and hate
during my campaign
for President, I
know
it is up to the pixel
population to end
stupidity
and intolerance. One great way to battle intolerance is to
all gather together,
make new friends, chat
in a dignified manner
and PARTY!

That is why we decided to use the very top
floor for the exciting
Club 177. With views that offer the party goer a glimpse
into the world beyond Moove, decks to commune
with the heavens, dazzling light shows, music
by Mix 944 FM and live bands, and the absolutely
cleanest rest rooms on the planet - Club
177 is already getting rave reviews. The public areas of Club 177 use up nearly
50% of the space on the 177th floor. The
other 50% is used by Twisted Dragon, Craftie
Lady, Mela and me as private second residences.
With penthouses designed by Ky Stephan, Lady
Footprints and others, the luxurious surroundings
of the past Angel Kiss members could almost
be called decadent.
With the final technological touches being
installed and tested, the Thorn will be opening
to the public on Christmas eve with a free
buffet, cocktails and music by Mix 944FM.
The TorLa tech geeks are still unsure if
the "Tory Portals" will be working,
and we really do not want to use them if
they can cause you to poof to another dimension
or worse yet, another chat community.
Luxury too decadent for a Diva? Nope.
In the coming weeks and months, we will be
offering office, retail and residential space
for free to any and all Moove residents through
the patented and (hopefully) safe "Tory
Portal Transport System". IMPORTANT! If you are planning on using a helicopter
or other flying device
to attend the grand
opening, please register
with the flight
concierge on the
thrid floor for a landing
schedule.
