eyes). Well, I have been to other chat places (undercover
work of course),
and I have to say that no
place on the Internet
comes even close to
matching the Holiday
Spirit that oozes from
our community. It
is like a sweet honey that
makes the burnt toast
of "Real"
a bit easier to eat
at breakfast. I seem to always go into the Holiday Season
with that melancholy
feeling of missing old
friends (see the
"Memories" column),
but then I go out
and I meet new friends
and by the time Christmas
Eve comes around,
I am a "Ho Ho
Ho" kind of girl."
There is never a
reason to be alone on Christmas
when you have so
many dear friends who are
in Moove with you. One of the things that gets me into the festive
mood is the Annual
Christmas Decoration
Contest
held by Moove.com.
Each year Lothar
offers
a BIG CC's award
for the winner of
the Peoples
Choice Award, but
honestly, most of
the people
who enter (and it
is usually everyone)
would
probably do it if
the prize was a lump
of
coal. So, here are just some of the entries this
year and we are adding more every hour, so
check back often. We are hoping to get them
all up by Christmas Day. You really need
to go and look at all three categories and
vote. OH..the music playing? LOL. I could
have used classics of the Holiday season,
but Moove is festive enough. If you were
to listen to a Christmas Carol while looking
at these amazing pictures, your head would
explode and we all know how an "exploding
head" can ruin an otherwise wonderful
day....and anyway, everyone needs to learn
about new music. I chose these songs, because
you need to get past the first impressions
and then you will get hooked. Much like people
we meet. Give them all a chance, you will
not be dissapointed.
