The Internet is in need of a Hero. Is Moove
that hero? we think so.

of Marketing term

If you search Google for 3D chat, you will
get more than 1,870,000
results. 3D chat
is popular and growing
- but only one of
these virtual chat
programs has the technology
and the vision to
change the way we surf
the Internet. Of
course I am speaking of
Moove.com. Without getting too technical, it is important
to first understand
why Moove is different
before venturing
into what Moove can become. Moove uses a peer to peer technology. In
simple terms, when
you create and dress up
your Avatar (known
as Actors in Moove), it
lives on your computer.
Other 3D chats store
your Avatar on a
large computer somewhere
in cyberspace. When
you log on, they let
you use your Avatar,
not much different than
a Barbie Doll. Not
a very comforting thought.
With Moove, our Avatars are always on our
very own computers. We do not have to be
online to change outfits or to even change
our Avatar to a new look. This may not seem
important right away, but for the Internet
of the future (Web 3D), it is the very foundation.
Let's take a peek at tomorrow.
Customize your
Avatar for
Web 3D in your
Control Panel
When you buy a new computer and bring it
home for the first time, you spend time customizing
it to fit your personality. You pick the
desktop wallpaper and the screensaver, you
set-up your Internet connection and all the
other little things to make it personal. Tomorrow, you will also create and personalize
your Moove 3D Avatar as part of your new
computer set-up. This Avatar will be the
Internet standard, which is important for
Web 3D to flourish. But besides being just a hot and spicy Avatar
in a virtual Club, your Avatar will have
the option to carry encrypted information
such as your debit card for online purchases
and any other information you so desire.
note: The Crystal Angel strongly suggests
using a seperate account and a debit card
for online purchases - please read our Infection
column on the next page.
The Kinset shopping experience is like being
the last person on earth. It is a lonely
and very industrial experience. Moove Avatars
and The Brand World Tools would help remove
this vacant feeling.
Once you are happy with your new Avatar,
you are ready to surf the Internet, either
in the current 2D layout or in the new 3D
layout. But why would you want to? Would
I have to use Web 3D? Both are good questions.
Let's look at the second question first. When you visit a cutting-edge website today,
you often have a
choice of using the Flash
version or the simple
HTML version. If you
are in a hurry, you
probably do as I do and
just click the "skip"
link. But
if you are wanting
the full effect of the
website, you use
the Flash version. Web 3D will work in much the same way. There
are web sites that
will not get any better
or have any reason
to go 3D just as there
are some web sites
today that would not be
any better with Flash.
But many Internet
sites and certain
business models will benefit
greatly by offering
both.
Shopping at
TheMallPlus
would be much
more
fun as a Moove
Avatar.
The three hottest trends on the web today
(besides sexy pics and movies) are E-commerce,
Social Networking and Gaming. The last two
use chats to offer a better experience. Some
e-commerce sites offer a "Live Help"
button (as the Crystal Angel does), but it
is often a very impersonal experience. It
is these three areas of the Internet that
Moove will bring together.
Avatars offered by TheMallPlus are crude
and not very sexy
E-commerce - Let's face it; girls do not like to shop
alone. I know I do
not. Going to the
mall
in Real is a social
event. I call up
Chelsea
and maybe Tina and
off we go to the
fashion
mecca known as Crossroads
Mall. We advise
each other on what
looks good or looks
plain
awful and whisper
snide comments to
each
other about the rude
sales girl. Shopping online does not offer any of the
social aspects of
shopping in Real, with
the exception of
First3DMall.com and TheMallPlus.com. I could never get First 3D Mall to work
but I was impressed
with The Mall Plus.
With rich graphics and a chat feature, this
is the type of shopping environment I would
use online. Unfortunatly the choice of stores
is slim and although they offer an Avatar
to shop with, they are crude and frankly
not very sexy. I want to be looking HOT when
I go to the Mall. Enter the Moove Avatar
you just set-up on your new computer. A company called Kinset also offers a form of 3D shopping but I
found it difficult to use and very slow.
I did not see an option to create an Avatar
and I really do not like downloading more
and more programs just to shop. By merging
the standardized Moove Avatar and the Moove
browser with these online shopping sites
would allow companies like TheMallPlus to
focus more on the shopping experience and
less on creating Avatars.
Just hanging out watching the other shoppers
is one my fav Mall past times
E-commerce sites are a dime a billion and
without a unique
and cost-effective
marketing
plan, most of them
will lose money and
eventually
close down. Even
the most successful
e-commerce
sites need to be
constantly adjusting
to
the new algorythms
of Google or pay
big money
for click through
advertising. At the
same
time, sites that
offer anything for
free
are getting big hits.
I love shopping with my Auntie Rose
In the very near future, sites such as the
Gap, Old Navy, Levi, and Victorias Secret
will offer free downloads of copies of their
Real products for the standardized Moove
Avatar to wear. "Hey Tory,
Is Avatar Fashion
and Advertising
the wave
of the future?
where didja get those Buttonfly Levis"?
"How funny you should ask. I went to
Levi.com and clicked on the Avatar Fashion link.
I wound up buying a pair for Real too".
In other words instead of Levi paying big
money for clicks on Google or Yahoo, they
simply offer free Avatar outfits. Even if a visitor to the Levi web site only
dowloads the free Avatar item, Levi benefits
by drawing yet another potential customer
to their site; and the Avatar wearing the
new Levis becomes an important viral advertiser
as they surf the web in 3D. Who is going to be at the forefront of designing
3D shops and free Avatar namebrands? The
current Designers in Moove, that is who.
They are skilled and ready to begin producing
for the forward thinking company. Note: If you are interested in having your product
created in the virtual market place and redistributed
on a global scale, the Crystal Angel can
offer all the information you will need in
contacting the appropriate designer. The
costs a miniscule compared to other types
of brand marketing and your designer created
product lasts nearly forever and replicates
throughout the world of Moove. Please contact us at CrystalAngelFashion@earthlink.net
for more information. Gaming - After shopping at the 3D Mall, hanging
out in the Food Court and downloading some
Tory missing her purrfect 300 game by three
pins at the Pogo.com of tomorrow. LMBO
new FREE outfits from Old Navy and Levi,
I head over to the Pogo.com Bowling Alley with Mela and Tina, while
Chelsea hurries off to a golf game she is
late for on Shockwave.com. After changing into my new Avatar outfits,
I meet up with Wood,
Uncle Mickey, Lady Bon
Bon, MM and others
and we bowl a few
games. Of course I win them all. LMBO. After bowling we head over to the 3D Pub
where we sit and chat with friends from all
over the world while sipping a tasty vitual
ale. (burp) By basing the Pub on Brand World
Tools, and through an agreement with TIVO,
a large screen television on the wall of
the Pub broadcasts sports (and American Idol
of course). The possiblities are endless for both entertainment,
online sports and games; as well as advertising
and marketing ...and we all know that if
there is money to be made, it will get attention
and will come to pass.
With the free tools of Moove, anyone can
open a Pub.
Well, all that is fine and dandy for businesses
and companies that sell real products, but
what about companies whose products or services
do not relate well to Avatars? For example,
T-Mobile which offers Internet and Cell Phone
services. The answer is in the amazing flexibility
and ease of the Moove Room Creator and Brand
World Tools. Companies like T-Mobile
can easily open a Club with 3D links to its
service plans and phones, and even staff
it with a real person in Avatar form. As more and more businesses open up 3D virtual
spaces, the quality of these "spaces"
will improve through competition. Remember,
we are not talking about the million Moove
residents currently visiting Clubs and virtual
spaces, but million upon millions of Internet
users. In simple terms, every 3D web site
becomes a social space. Every Internet surfer
becomes an interactive part of that social
space.
Any business can open a Club or social gathering
space with 3D links to products or services.
Social Networking - Web sites such as Yahoo Groups, MNS Groups,
MySpace, YouTube and Facebook are considered
Social Networking sites and created the current
Web 2.0. They have become increasingly popular.
They are also great viral marketing tools.
The Crystal Angel uses both MySpace and YouTube
to bring attention to our magazine and to
Moove.com. But to call them true social networking
web sites, a more realistic and personal
interaction needs to happen between the users
of strictly (non 3D) social networking sites.
What does this
chart mean?
Dammit Jim, I'm
a fashion writer
not a web guru
If MySpace were to blend Moove into their
social offerings, the experience on MySpace
would move beyond a kind of "voyeur
status" to a true social networking
web site. This merger would benefit both
companies and all of the users and residents.
From just a fashion editors point of view,
it would seem that with the current battle for users between MySpace and Facebook, the time is
purrrfect for a MySpace / Moove partnership.
Although Facebook is doing some kewl things,
I lean more towards MySpace due to the current
ability to see MySpace pages on IPhones and
certain phones by T-Mobile. This is important because Moove will be
available on your web capable cell phone.
We all love to text, and by merging the browser
of Moove and your Avatar with cell texting,
the experience will be even more rewarding.
Stuck at the airport and just dying to go
shopping at Bath and Bodyworks with your best GF? Just text your GF and
point your cell browser
to bathandbodyworks.com
and shop together.
Sound to good to be true?
With the right strategic
partner, all of
this and more can
be brought to reality.
Whether it be Pogo.com, Kinset, MySpace or
T-Mobile, the blending
of Moove's technology
with the great things
now happening on
the
Internet by these
companies will take
the
Web beyond 2.0 and
pave the way for
Web 3D.
Now, which one of you totally smart companies
is going to be my Hero and Miracle Man? LOL
