From Cambodia to the Amazon, the pieces of
the puzzle begin to come together.
It was one year ago that TorLa was formed
with the merging of the Crystal Angel Network
and Louisiana based Mela Industries. As soon as we moved into our offices high
on the 69th floor of the Thorn Building,
the Beanz adventure began - we had no idea
what the future held for us and our family
in Moove. We did not know it then, but our destiny
had been carefully laid out in a plan that,
at first, scared the bejesus out of both
Mela and me. Our trip to the Orient was filled
with odd visions and ended with the kidnapping
of Mela and Dark Embrace deep in Cambodia.
It all seemed like just a cruel and illegal
way to take over our global interests and
the technology that TorLa had developed -
but it was so much more. The wierdness just kept growing as we embarked
on our cross country
road trip to Salem and
discovered that it
was not just Mela and
I that were having
odd things happen to us;
crazy stuff was occuring
throughout Moove.
Things began to come together and make a
little more sense after we met the Guardian
and Destiny created the Angel Kiss band. While the adventures of the Beanz criss crossed
the globe, taking many of us to far-off exotic
locations in the Real World, there was one
recurring message that filtered through the
fog of confusion - "Our lives in Moove
have a purpose and we are destined for greater
things. All of us. The Beanz Saga is not over...or is it? As
has been the case
with almost everything
we encounter in Real,
something bigger than
all of us is guiding
our existence and determining
our destiny as Avatars.
We have republished the Beanz Saga in this
issue in a condensed version. We hope this
helps our new readers and even long time
fans to begin to fully understand the importance
of Beanz and how, now more than ever, we
must accept our destiny as is given to each
of us. We begin the adventure in August of 2007,
on our first ever vacation into the Real
world. An adventure that ripped Mela and
Embrace from our lives and started us on
the path to confused enlightment. What better
