Support logical solutions to the worlds fashion
problems, Vote for
Tory and Mela.
Problems and challenges seem to be everywhere.
Not only in America,
but across the world.
Politicians are pretty much the same everywhere.
They have the best
intentions, but once
they
get to running for
an office or get
elected,
a wierd thing happens
- they forget about
the people. The challenges facing us and our solutions
would fill the whole
Internet 100 times
over,
so between now and
November when the
election
is to take place,
we will be sharing
solutions
to that could help
us all.
OIL, GAS, and ENERGY Although the Wars are a major problem, we
are still formulating
our foreign policy
and how we can stop
them. It is a hard
thing,
so give us a few
weeks. Another huge
crisis
is our energy situation
in America and the
world. America uses
25% of all the worlds
oil while we are
only 4% of the worlds
population.
That is just plain
wrong. Our gluttony for oil is not just hurting
us, it is hurting
the whole world.
Some want
to tax oil companies,
others want to end
the speculation in
the oil markets.
Some
want to have us all
drive boring little
hybrids,
while others say
more drilling is
the only
answer. These are all good ideas but must be a package
of a sensible Energy
Policy. In the coming
months leading up
to the election we
will
be exploring all
these ideas, but
we are
strong supporters
of the T.Boone Pickens Plan as a place to start. If enough of us make
noise, maybe the
Government will listen
THE FLAT TAX The current tax code has over 5.5 billion
words, countless
forms and instructions,
and is too complex
for the average taxpayer
to comprehend. As
a result, businesses
and
individuals face
huge burdens of time
and
money to comply with
the tax code; in
2006,
Americans spent over
6 billion hours filling
out tax forms for
the government. Switching to a flat tax would make it simple
to pay taxes, saving
everyone time and
money.
Under a flat tax,
filing taxes would
take
mere minutes, and
decreasing compliance
costs
would improve the
economy; all of those
billions
of hours we spend
filing taxes could
be put
to productive use.
Go ahead and compute
your
flat tax below, keeping
in mind the time
that you save in
filling out a simple
form,
and that economic
growth will improve
your
income situation
immensely.
Fill out the sample tax form and see the
ease of the flat
tax
Notes: The tax rate is 17%, with personal
deductions (Married
Filing Jointly= $26,400;
Single = $13,200;
Single head of household
= $17,160). "Married
(filing jointly)"
is when either one
or both spouses work,
and are reporting
their combined income.
"Single head
of household"
is for
unmarried individuals
supporting dependents.

CAMPAIGN FINANCE I think we all know that our Politicians
in Washington D.C.
are getting pretty
rich
through pay-offs
and "donations",
not to mention the
rather huge salary
they
all enjoy. They get
free Health Care,
Free
Transportation, free
flights to where
ever,
and just about anything
else they want. There are several good ideas out there to
make sure our politicians
are honest and
to reform the way
they get money:
Deregulation
Many scholars believe
government regulation
is the main culprit
distorting and corrupting
our campaign finance
system. What are
the
arguments behind
this belief?
Expenditure Limits
Expenditure limits
are intended to control
inequalities between
parties and candidates,
prevent increases
in the costs of politics,
and restrict the
scope of influence
and corruption.
Are these limits
a viable reform tool?
Contribution Limits
Read about reforms
aimed at limiting
contributions
in order to reduce
the possibilities
of exercising
undue influence on
a candidate or party
by
a contributor.
Clean Money
The clean money campaign
reform approach
is designed to provide
an alternative to
the current system
of raising and spending
special-interest
money to finance
election
campaigns. Is this
alternative system
likely
to become reality?
Soft Money Ban
With virtually no limits on the size and
source of soft money (unlimited contributions),
soft money is frequently criticized as a "loophole"
that allows donors to circumvent the federal
campaign finance laws. Our proposal is a bit different. We are putting
together a plan to
have our Politicians
wear
NASCAR type jump
suits while politicking
and working. On these
stylish jump suits
will be the sponsors
for each Politician.
DOW Chemical giving
Senator Blah Blah
3 million
dollars, a big DOW
patch is sewn on
the jump
suit. In addition,
we believe that a
limit
on the amount of
money you can spend
to get
elected should be
put into effect.
Be looking
in our future issues
for more information
on this plan.
The Wars? The Housing Crisis? Health Care?
and the Environment? Unlike our opponents, we cannot just throw
out something to
make everyone feel better.
These are very complicated
issues requiring
complicated solutions.
Our top notch advisors
and the brightest
Avatar minds are currently
working on our policy
papers and we will
be releasing them
as soon as they are completed. We can fix things. But it will take us forgetting
about being a Democrat
or Republican. These
political parties
have failed us and frankly,
neither one really
knows how to party anyway.

these are a good start,

our efforts. Together
we can change America
and the World.
