An All-Star Line-Up at the Rayden Sisters
Welcome Aboard Formal Dance
by Crystal Angel Fashion Editor SATURDAY 6:19 pm
I put on my Lavender Rasta Gown. A wonderful
light silk design with matching pumps and
sprayed on a tiny bit of Gardenia Body Spray
(my signature fragrance) then left my suite
at 6:30 PM and headed to the Grand Ballroom
where Princess Rayden, Sweet Jenn, Catwoman
and Lady Rayden were putting the final touches
on "the shindig" as it is now known
as. As I was in the elevator, I recieved a call
from the First Mate asking me to please come
to the bridge right away. "WTF? What
now?" I thought to myself and got off
on the elevator and headed to the top deck. As I arrived at the bridge, I heard a helicopter
overhead and watched a Coast Guard chopper
land on the heli-deck. The Captain told me
that he wanted me to see this landing. YAWN. OMG...Is that Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker getting off the chopper?, I asked the Captain.
He just smiled and nodded his head. "But
that is not your surprise", he told
me. The next person that exited the chopper
was in a wheelchair pushed by a sexy nurse
and was dressed in all black even though
the temperature outside was very hot. IT
WAS ANGEL! With a top hat and looking mighty
fine. The Captain told me that a group of my friends
in Moove took care of everything to make
sure Angel could travel with us to Tahiti
and - that Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker had
heard of our Cruise and Formal Dance and
begged to perform. I was in hog heaven. I ran to meet Angel and gave her the biggest
hug ever and helped her get settled into
the suite. She was very tired from the trip
and told me she would meet me at the dance
after a quick nap and her meds. I headed
down (running late again) to the Ballroom
and met with the Rayden Sisters. Princess Rayden looked stunning in a lavender
silk gown by Matti which due to he patented weaving process
catches light which makes the "fit for
a Princess Gown" shimmer as it moves.
Lady Rayden wore a wonderful coral sea sequined
gown by MaggyMay which really set off the newlyweds eyes.
Sweet Jenn chose to wear a delightful Dark Embrace silk and chiffon design in a fluid blending
of cool blues while Catwoman chose a two
piece Matti design that showed off the curves
of Catwoman in a most appealing and sexy
formal fashion statement. Frankly, the Rayden
sisters looked more like Angels than I did. Victor arrived next and looked so handsome
and distinguished in his self designed tuxedo.
Victor was to greet each guest as they entered
while I played the Hostess with the Mostess.
Princess Rayden and the Sisters had their
hands full with Robert Earl Keen, John Prine
and some secret musical special guests. If
you think Designers are a high maintenance
bunch, just try dealing with musicians. LOL. The guests started arriving promptly at 7:00
PM and this Fashion Editor was simply awe
struck at the fantastic Gowns and Tuxedos
(not to mention the gorgeous people wearing
them) that were entering the ballroom.

The evening started with a social and cocktail
hour and it was nice to see residents of
Moove relaxing with old friends. John Prine took the stage promptly at 9:00 PM and filled
the Ballroom with his unique story telling and
flawless guitar work. Pricess Rayden had
done a fine job of starting the evenings
music with the laid back style of John Prine
which gave the crowd a chance to get into
a somewhat romantic mood and slow dance to
Donald and Lydia, Paradise, Illegal Smile, and Hello in There. As John Prine's set came to close, Robert Earl Keen came out and picked up the pace with hits
such as "Live and Die by Shades of Grey", and the "Road Goes on Forever". As the "Road" was coming
to close, a scuffle broke out between (NAMES
WITHELD) and (NAME WITHHELD) in the back
of the Ballroom over some silly disagreement
about a past boyfriend saying something about
some stuff that involved someone doing something
that made someone else get mad. Security
quickly broke up the cat fight and escorted
the fighting parties to their berths. Following Robert Earl Keen, the Banquet was
served and oh my, what a Banquet it was.
Fresh Lobster, Sea Bass and the most tender
delicious Prime Rib you ever tasted with
fresh fruits, pasta and a delightful Chocolate
Pastry to die for filled the tables. It was
just tooooo yummy.. Everyone was stuffed to the gills by 11:30
PM when Nickleback, Uncle Kracker and Kid
Rock took the Ballroom Stage.
