If you have been in Moove long enough to know that hitting the designer
shops is fun and easy, then there is a good
chance your closet has several creations
by someone named C@ndi Sinz. Whether it is a form fitting corsett in royal
blue and gray or a pair of thigh high white
platforms, a design by C@ndi is more likely
than not to be hanging in every Moove ladies
closet. I knew when we decided to put together this
magazine we needed a well-known top designer
to grace our pages...but who?
I mean, Moove has as many top designers as
stars in the Western sky on moonless July
night. Where does one even start? I decided to start by looking in my closet.
What I found was that dozens of my favorite
outfits included pieces or accessories that
bore the C@dni Sinz designer label. The choice
on who to interview for our premier edition
became easier. Trying to hook up with C@ndi proved almost
as difficult as deciding who to interview.
Although eager to help out in any way she
could, scheduling difficulties made it a
challenge.
Between running her Pin Up Contest for Valentines Day and whipping up new designs, having extra
time to hang out with a cowgirl and a notepad
proved a bit difficult. I recieved an invitation to meet with her
in her Penthouse (which also serves as her
Club) on Saturday night. I poofed in around
9:00 and was greeted by a warm smile and
hug from C@ndi.
As the breeze blew softly across the Penthouse
deck, C@ndi and I sipped on Margaritas and
talked.
TORY: C@ndi, what started you on designing stuff
for Moove?
C@NDI SINZ*: : Well first I wanted cool music so I started
a music page............then
I started getting
textures and pictures for
my music page for
Moove.....I still have
those there on my
old sites:)
TORY: Were the textures and pictures mostly for
designing and decorating
rooms?
C@NDI SINZ*: Yes, for rooms. It was Vallian Vice that
taught me how to paint
TORY: It is a big jump from decorating rooms
to designing the latest
fashions for the
residents of Moove?
C@NDI SINZ*: Vallian had been creating a series of male
actors, called Bad Boys
and he offered to
let me paint some of them
...that was really
the bridge from rooms to
clothing.
TORY: So you are saying that BAD BOYS caused
you to make the transition
to fashion and
accessories?
C@NDI SINZ*: LOL....bad girls were to come but we started
the studio
TORY:oh right, like we need more bad girls in
Moove? LOL
C@NDI SINZ*: LOL, Then Vallian made me an actor which
got me interested in doing
personals.
TORY What are personals?
C@NDI SINZ*: personal is just for the person .......no
web site, no public downloads.
Personals
would be like a designer
original ...just
for the individual...not
for public sale.
TORY: How long have you been designing?
C@NDI SINZ*: It will be 2 years this spring that I started.
I could not have done it
without help from
DBdigital as well.
TORY: Do you remember your first successful outift?
C@NDI SINZ*: My first one? I guess when I started first
designing clothes I didn't do MMG which imeans
not all skin tones could wear them. I worked
with light skin and markia mainly. I did
not learn MMG until about four months later.
TORY: When did you realize you had a real talent
for designing?
C@NDI SINZ*: I just paint is all. I make things I like
and I put it out there
so that if anyone
wants they can wear it:)
TORY: Looking through your site, you have a flair
for using basic black as
a foundation color
in many of your designs...with
sharp blasts
of color here and there....
C@NDI SINZ*: Yeah I'm not into muticolorable things
TORY: Do you feel black is a safe bet going into
spring and summer with
the proper accessories?
C@NDI SINZ*: Basic black just works here very well~ we
have so many creators that
do colors:)) and
I like the gothicy look
per say.
TORY: With so many fabulous designs how do you
decide what to wear?
C@NDI SINZ*: I usually mix and match from other designers
in my actors studio. I'm
proud to wear others
creations when choosing
an outfit
TORY: Being a long time designer in Moove, what
is a fashion nightmare
you could live without.
C@NDI SINZ*: The residents of Moove make their own fashion,
we don't look to trends.
A fashion nightmare
is someone who does not
make their own style.
Fashion in Moove can be
anything we make
it.
I could have sat and chatted
design and fashion
for days with C@ndi, but
the Club began to
fill with a mix of long
time locals and newbies
and C@ndi, as the hostess
with mostess and
decked out in a sexy black
leather and red
silk corsett and skirt),
was needed by her
guests.
In addition to fab outfits,
C@ndi also creates
faces for both men and
ladies, accessories,
fashion footwear, and just
about anything
else a Moove resident could
want. C@ndi Sinz' wonderful website and designs
