Randos Sanctuary A Moove Bachelor and his Beach House I first met Rando when he was running a Sports
Club in the City during the height of the
football season. I hung out there alot, not
because I care a lick about sports, but because
Rando was always a gentleman and was always
surrounded by the most interesting and the
most beautiful people of Moove. So when I received a call informing me that
he had sold his Sports Bar, moved out of
the city and bought a beach house on 300
yards of ocean front property, I was intrigued
to say the least and jumped at the chance
to trade in my Northface and Uggs for a two
piece swim suit and a chance to interview
Rando. When I arrived in the early evening, Rando
had a dinner of stuffed pork chops, fresh
home baked rolls and a tossed salad prepared
with a nice bottle of wine on a candlelit
table.
I reminded myself that I was there strictly
as a journalist. During dinner, Rando talked
to me about his beach house and his relaxed
lifestyle. Rando bought his beach front cabin two months
ago from Moove house designer LexiaBaby for
$10.000.00 and confided me in that it was
a steal. After two months of living the life
by the sea, Rando could not be happier with
his move from the hectic city . The 200 year old logs used for the walls
are recycled from a historic barn and were
brought from the mountains of Colorado -
more than 1000 miles away - to become Randos
sanctuary. With a wide open floor plan, suede sofas
in a wonderful earthen tone and white wool
carpet, the beach house is an entertainers
dream. Rando confirmed that he has had his
share of shindigs at the beach house, but
that the layout and coziness makes a perfect
getaway for those times he enjoys being by
himself. The living room space with a conversation
area and a separate home theater area flows
into an enclosed porch with Ralph Lauren
fixtures and a spectacular wrap-around view
. Off the home theater area is the kitchen
complete with a fully stocked slection of
wine, as well as the bathroom and Randos
bedroom.
While Rando says
he enjoys cooking
in his
new kitchen, he was
silent when I asked
him
about the rumoured
cooking outside the
kitchen
some of the Moove
ladies talk about
in hushed
whispers. Randos bedroom is a suite with the California
king canopied bed hidden in an alcove for
the utmost privacy. The bedroom also enjoys
a sitting area with black leather sofas and
a fireplace. A wall of windows offers all day sunshine
and a bed view of the twinkling stars at
night.
Randos private bath
sports a back marble
jetted tub for two
and a separate glass
enclosed
shower area with
steam shower. Off the back deck Rando enjoys his own private
beach and boat dock. An avid scuba diver,
Rando tells the Crystal Angel that he would
rather be underwater than almost anywhere. Ladies be aware, that Randos Beach is topless. From the hubbub of the City to the tranquility
of his home by the sea, Rando has maintained
his bright outlook on life, his carefree
lifestyle and an ability to enjoy the finer
things in life without guilt. The Beach House
is certainly one the finer things in Randos
life.
