About the Resort Update This Info
Shanty Creek Resort & Club has two mountains
featuring slopes for all abilities and age
levels. Schuss Mountain, located in Schuss
village offers 35 slopes, and Summit Mountain
features 12 slopes.
Shanty Creek Resort & Club is a four-season
golf and snowsport resort with a conference
center located on 4,500 acres. During the
winter months, Shanty Creek offers 47 slopes,
a tubing park, 1/2 pipe, 2 terrain parks
and 30 km of cross-country trails for Nordic
enthusiasts. With snowsports activities at
every village (Summit, Schuss Mountain, and
Cedar River), Shanty Creek Resort & Club
is a complete winter resort destination...accommodations,
shopping, dining, ice skating, horse drawn
sleigh rides, ski schools, children's ski
programs, cross country skiing, snowboarding,
tubing, and wellness spa.Situated in the
heart of “America’s Summer Golf Capital,”
Shanty Creek also features 72 holes of championship
golf during the summer months.

and older ski for free also. Prices for Weekend/Holiday
are only for Weekends. Holiday Rates (Full
Day) are as follows: Adult - $50, Student/Teen

Drivers license or guest ID required for
snowboard & snowblade rental. Reduced
rates available for multiple day rentals.
Lessons & Instruction
Private and group Skiing,Snowboarding and
Cross Country lessons for adults are available.
There are also children's programs for snowboarders
and skiers. Smart Riders is a 1/2 day snowboarding
clinic starting at 10 am & 1:30 pm, for
ages 6-12, and is only available weekends
and holidays.Also available is Kid's Academy,in
full day or 1/2 day clinics for ages 6-12.
Snow Stars is a full day or 1/2 day skiing
clinic for children ages 3-5. Snow Angels
is a full day skiing clinic for 3-5 year
olds.
Snowboarding
Our Terrain Park has been upgraded this year
at both Summit & Schuss Village - More
Hits, More Runs, More Fun!
Racing Programs
3 different racing clinics are offered every
day of the week (with a minimum of 3 participants).
RACE CLINIC: Starts at 11am. 2 hours of race
training, includes 3 NASTAR runs. NASTAR:
Available Monday-Saturday at 2:30pm and Sundays
at 12 noon. KIDS CAMP: For ages 6-12. 1:30pm
to 4pm. Includes gate training and 3 NASTAR
runs.
Recent Improvements
New This Winter! Expanded Terrain Park at
both villages - more hits, more terrain,
more fun! "Club 13218" will also
be premiering at Shanty Creek. What is there
for teens to do? That question will be answered
in part this winter with the establishment
of “Club 13218”. “Club 13218” will have a
pool table, arcade games, music and cards
just for those ages 13 - 18. Shanty Creek
also just launched their new "Creek
Concierge" service, an extensive online
guide of Area Attractions, Local Chambers
of Commerce, Visitors’ Guides, Local News
and Weather links including over 28 categories
from A to Z with entries as diverse as Antiques,
Fishing, Groceries, Vineyards, Medical Facilities
and Zoos.
Dining
There are many dining options available for
all kinds of tastes at Shanty Creek. La Vinga
Italian Bistro features a taste of Italy
that is sure to delight your appetite. Don't
forget The Lakeview, where the decision of
what is better, the food or the view is especially
difficult. You can decide as you taste the
fares of northern Michigan as you overlook
beautiful Lake Bellaire. If you are looking
for fun, food and spirit's, Ivan's is the
place for you, where fun is the 'specialty
of the house'.
Nightlife
Every weekend in the Lakeview Dining Room
at Summit Village, Shanty Creek is proud
to feature, "Live at the Lakeview"
featuring live entertainment featuring a
taste of Americana. Schuss village features
family apres ski with Lee Malone and our
famous Shanty Creek Dueling Pianos Show.
LaVigna features piano jazz during the weekends
also.
Lodging
Shanty Creek Resort & Club offers over
600 guest rooms, including suites, condos
and homes at all three villages. Summit Village,
Schuss Mountain and Cedar River makes the
lodging decision easy, each one unique from
the others.
