St. Sophia Nature Center Activities Fri., June 23: Birding with Ramona Take a bird location and identification hike with local naturalist Ramona Gaylord, 9-11 a.m.; KidSounds, active music making using the rich sounds and language of nature with Susan Ensor at the St. Sophia Nature Center, 10-10:30 a.m. For children ages 3-6; Wed., June 28: Herb Walker Tour with John Sir Jesse A guided nature hike to discover Telluride's plant life, 9 a.m.-noon; KidSing with Ulli Sir Jesse Hiking and singing songs about nature, for kids ages 6-12. Bring hiking boots and sunscreen, 3-4 p.m.; Fri., June 30: Birding With Ramona Hiking to identify Telluride bird life, 9-11 a.m.; KidSounds St. Sophia with Susan Ensor Music making while exploring the sounds and language of nature, for kids ages 3-6, 10-10:30 a.m. All activities are free and open to the public. Ridgway Farmers Market Sundays through September, 8 a.m.-noon. Located in Ridgway on Hwy. 550 across from the Ouray County Fairgrounds. This season features breakfast burritos and coffee, local vegetables and fresh fruit, bread, buffalo and elk meat, eggs, wine, fresh cut flowers, soaps and lotions, jewelry, crafts, and much more. First Sunday of each month will feature a cooking demonstration using produce from the market.
